Goals & Objectives
Project Objective(s):
- The project will maximize the sport experience of the children through provision of a complete and efficient football infrastructure. WCC will improve the quality of life of young people by providing recreational opportunities to advance their economic prospects and quality of life.
- The project will increase social cohesion and reduce micro criminality in the communities - the aim is to improve the overall quality of life within the communities.
- As the project is deeply intertwined with our educational efforts, it will also foster involvement in basic educational activities and schooling.
- The project will improve access for the most marginalized beneficiaries to sports and recreational moments, increasing disadvantaged people’s opportunities and life prospects, in turn improving the conditions of the entire community.
Project Goal(s):
- The project aims at fostering sustainable development and long-term financial independence from external aid sources in the rural communities of Sierra Leone, through the creation of valid education and sports offers and better life opportunities for the youngest population.
Input & Outcome
Input(s):
- New and newly renovated football infrastructure is developed and put in place.
- A cohort of trainers and evaluators is established and properly trained.
- Football curricula for the kids are developed and finalized, while the performance assessment mechanisms are also created.
Outcome(s):
- Adequate soccer activities and related recreational moments are made available to the kids and youngsters of Maboikandoh.
